At some point in this series, Korra needs to accidently crash into this statue, causing both the cabbage cart and the cabbage being held up in the air to break off and shatter on the ground, leaving behind only the lone cabbage merchant to stand forever in the ashes of his shame and humiliation.
Because the cabbage merchant and his cabbages are never safe.
Not even in statue form.
